Celebrity crime columnist taken to hospital

Vanity Fair celebrity crime columnist Dominick Dunne was taken to Valley Hospital this morning.

Dunne, who is 82 and suffering from bladder cancer, told a CNN senior producer inside the courtroom that he was "in a lot of pain" a little before 10 a.m. and left the courtroom on his own.

Paramedics came to the courthouse and rushed Dunne to the hospital.

Dunne has been attending Simpson's trial.
