Engelstad Foundation gives $12.6 million to UNLV for scholarships

The Engelstad Family Foundation donated $12.625 million to fund scholarships at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas, the university announced this morning.

The donation is expected to eventually fund 100 scholarships a year.

UNLV President Neal Smatresk called it the largest scholarship donation in Nevada history.
