Faces changing in LV media circles
Making the rounds to update the media comings and goings:
■ It's Farewell Friday for Paula Coleman, weekday host of KNPR's "Morning Edition" since 1994. She's relocating to Tennessee to rejoin her husband, Rob, who moved there a few months ago. She was inducted into the Nevada Broadcasters Association Hall of Fame in September. ...
■ Collette Wieland, morning reporter and fill-in anchor at NBC affiliate KSNV-TV, Channel 3, leaves next month for Portland, Ore., for what she called "an amazing opportunity" and similar role at NBC affiliate KGW-TV. Moving to Las Vegas in May 2007 "was like coming home" because the Los Angeles native had so many family members. But she's looking forward to returning to Portland, where she previously worked at a competing station. "I'm excited about seeing the trees and green grass. I fell in love with the culture and the people." Her last day is Dec. 9. ...
■ Jessica Berlin, director of social media for Cirque du Soleil since early 2008, is leaving Las Vegas after almost eight years to work for Chicago-based website developer American Eagle. She previously worked for Kirvin Doak Communications before joining Cirque in 2005 as a publicist. Her last day is Friday. ...
■ KTNV-TV, Channel 13, personality Tricia Kean and entertainer Chris Phillips of Zowie Bowie tonight host the MDA fundraiser Cocktails, Couture & Cars at the Marquis Las Vegas Estate Home, 6755 Agave Azul Court. The party starts at 5:30 p.m. and will feature an informal fashion show by Neiman Marcus, luxury cars, food and drinks. Tickets are $200 per couple, and people can RSVP to the MDA office 822-6920 or email kbencze@mda.usa.org. ...
■ Local sports broadcasting legend Bob Blum is signing his book "Started Talking at 11 Months ... Still Talking" at the UNLV men's basketball game Saturday against Wisconsin. Blum, 90, donated 100 books to the Rebel Athletic Fund. Make a $20 donation to the foundation, and you get a free book. Blum, in his 20th season as the voice of Lady Rebels basketball team after 18 years of broadcasting other UNLV sports, will be on the concourse behind section 117. He's done it all: NFL, big-league baseball, 38 years at UNLV.

Mirage headliner and Dallas Cowboys fan Terry Fator is living the dream on Sunday. He's returning to his home state to sing the national anthem at the Cowboys-Detroit Lions game in Cowboys Stadium. ...
In a stunning overnight reversal, "Desperate Housewives" star Eva Longoria Parker went from a "100 percent false" denial to filing divorce papers against NBA star Tony Parker on Wednesday. His text messages to a teammate's wife reportedly triggered the split. ...
A Miss America tradition, the Show Us Your Shoes Parade, will be restored at the 2011 pageant, with the 53 contestants strutting their stuff in the shadow of the Eiffel Tower at Paris Las Vegas.
