Flood project will cause traffic delays in northwest Las Vegas

The installation of a storm drain to alleviate flood waters in the Northwest valley will begin Feb. 19.

The area of Grand Teton Drive between Durango Drive and Rainbow Boulevard will be down to one lane as crews work on the $11.7 million project that is expected to last 15 months.

Motorists can expect delays in the area. Farm Road can be used as an alternative route.
