Henderson police seek hooded bank robber

Henderson police are looking for a man who robbed a Wells Fargo branch Saturday afternoon.

According to Henderson police, at about 1 p.m., a more than 6-foot-tall suspect in his 30s robbed the Wells Fargo bank branch at 1411 W. Sunset Rd., near Stephanie Street, with the hood of his sweatshirt covering his face and a white sock on his left hand.

The suspect approached one of the tellers and handed her a note implying he had a gun and demanding money. The teller gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of cash, and the suspect fled the bank, police said.

No weapon was shown. No one was injured during the robbery.
