HENDERSON HOST BIRD PHOTOGRAPHY WORKSHOP

The city of Henderson is scheduled to host a basic bird workshop at 9 a.m. Nov. 2 at the Henderson Bird Viewing Preserve, 350 E. Galleria Drive.

The workshop is expected to cover basic camera tips and recommendations on choosing the right location to set up a shot and the etiquette of photographing birds in the wild.

The event costs $14. It is open to anyone 12 or older.

VETERANS HONORED AT CEREMONY

The city of Henderson is scheduled to host its Veterans Day ceremony at 10 a.m. Nov. 2 at the Henderson Amphitheater, 200 S. Water St.

VIGIL FOCUSES ON PANCREATIC CANCER

The Pancreatic Cancer Action Network is scheduled to host its annual vigil at 5 p.m. Oct. 27 at the District at Green Valley Ranch, 2240 Village Walk Drive.

As part of the National Turn the Country Purple day, the event honors survivors and those who died of pancreatic cancer

CITY HALL IN THE MALL SEEKS RESIDENT FEEDBACK

The city of Henderson is scheduled to host the annual “City Hall in the Mall” from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Nov. 16 at the Galleria at Sunset, 1300 W. Sunset Road.

The city also seeks residents feedback on programs and projects.
