ICE executes search warrants related to narcotics investigation

Federal agents served a search warrant Wednesday on several businesses located in the 5000 block of Oakey Boulevard where it intersects with Decatur Boulevard, an ICE spokeswoman said.

Virginia Kice, spokeswoman for the western region of U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement, said the warrant involves an ongoing narcotics investigation, but could not disclose any more information because court documents “remain under seal.”

“It’s been an ongoing investigation all day,” Kice said, adding that no one has been arrested and no arrest warrants have yet been issued.

“This is strictly a search warrant,” she added.
