UNR sees record number of grads at commencement
A record number of students graduated from the University of Nevada, Reno over the weekend.
UNR President Milton Glick called 2010's graduating class the largest and most diverse in school history. School officials say the class has 1,475 graduates.
About 15,000 people gathered at the university Saturday for commencement ceremonies. Students say the next task may be hard: finding a job in the difficult economy.

Reno airport set for scanners, but execs seek a delay
Reno-Tahoe International Airport is among 28 U.S. airports scheduled to get full-body security scanners this summer. The Transportation Security Administration announced the list Friday.
Reno-Tahoe airport spokesman Brian Kulpin said executives there will ask that installation be delayed until new technology can make the scanners smaller and less invasive.
He said the current versions of the full-body scanners would take up too much space in the Reno airport's narrow corridors. That could hinder plans for new restaurants and other concessions.
Kulpin also said airport officials are concerned that some travelers may feel uncomfortable going through full-body scans. TSA officials say full-body scans would be optional.
FLIGHT FROM MEXICO
NORAD F-16 fighters intercept ultralight craft near border
Two F-16 fighter planes intercepted an ultralight aircraft near the U.S.-Mexico border in southwestern Arizona, the North American Aerospace Defense Command said Sunday.
The plane crossed from Mexico into Arizona just after 6 a.m. Sunday. NORAD dispatched two F-16s from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base in Tucson, and they shadowed the ultralight for about 30 minutes until it flew back into Mexico.
Lt. Cmdr. Gary Ross said he was unaware of any radio contact with the plane.
Ultralight aircraft are sometimes used to carry drugs and other contraband across the border.
NORAD responds about 200 times a year to aircraft flying without radio contact or in restricted airspace, but Ross said it's not typical for the command center to intercept an ultralight. He could not provide further details about why F-16s were sent to intercept the aircraft Sunday.
