Jordan brothers live it up in Vegas

Michael Jordan's Twitter-happy 19-year-old son may be on a shorter leash on future trips to Las Vegas.

Marcus Jordan opened a major can of worms after hinting on Twitter last Friday that he was partying like a high roller at CityCenter.

Posted on his Twitter feed: "Last night was stupid..35k at Haze...Totals 50k something the whole day .. Damn!!"

A spokesman for MGM Resorts International acknowledged Tuesday that the gaming giant is checking into the matter. Alan Feldman, responding by e-mail, said: "Heard about it yesterday. We're looking into it."

Haze is a Light Group-operated nightclub in Aria, the anchor hotel-casino at MGM International's CityCenter.

Marcus, whose birth date is listed as Dec. 24, 1990, and his brother, Jeffrey, 21, were in Las Vegas with their father, who was holding the Michael Jordan fantasy camp at The Mirage.

The brothers, who are attending the University of Central Florida, loved their accommodations: Jeffrey, who goes by HeirJordan13 on Twitter, tweeted: "this suite at aria is sick."

Marcus' tweet that referred to the $35,000 tab was quickly removed from his Twitter feed.

One Strip executive I talked to said the offspring of high rollers are frequently a handful and need to be carefully supervised, now more than ever, after the liquor license crackdown last year. Another club exec said VIP hosts are often pressured to comp high rollers' family members.
