Judge Mosley’s son to be freed pending probe of deadly accident

The son of District Judge Donald Mosley will be released from custody pending charges in a fatal Henderson crash.

Family Court Judge William Voy today ordered Michael Mosley released because prosecutors have not filed formal charges in connection with the Nov. 14 crash that killed Olivia Hyten.

Prosecutors were awaiting the final crash report from Henderson police, who said it could take about another week.

Authorities have said Michael Mosley was street racing another vehicle, which crashed on a windy road, killing the girl.

Charges against the other driver were also pending until the investigation is complete.
