Las Vegas man charged in thefts from Target stores

A Las Vegas man was arrested on Feb. 5 in connection with thefts at Target stores, Henderson police said Wednesday.

Police are accusing 30-year-old Harold Joseph Michael of stealing from two Targets — one on Stephanie Street and the other on Lake Mead Parkway.

Target’s loss prevention team noticed an increase in thefts starting in November. These thefts included electronics that were worth thousands of dollars, Henderson spokeswoman Kathleen Richards said.

Detectives believe he also may have stolen from stores in Las Vegas and North Las Vegas.

Michael is charged with burglary, grand larceny, petit larceny, conspiracy and possession of burglary tools, Richards said.

Anyone with information about this string of thefts can contact Henderson police at 702-267-4750. To remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at 702-385-5555 or www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
