Las Vegas police seek bike-riding thieves who robbed 85-year-old woman

Las Vegas police asked for the public’s help Monday in finding two men who robbed an 85-year old woman March 21.

It happened about 3:50 p.m. in a parking lot near Rainbow Boulevard and Spring Valley Parkway.

After the robbery, both men fled the scene on BMX-style bicycles. One robber went east on Spring Valley while the other headed north on Dale Road.

The woman was hurt when the robbers knocked her to the ground.

Witnesses described one robber as a man from 18 to 25 years old, from 5 feet 10 inches to 6 feet tall and weighing approximately 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a gray shirt, black pants and a black baseball hat while riding a black and red bicycle.

The second robber is described as a man from 18 to 25 years old, approximately 5 feet 8 inches tall and weighing 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black shirt and pants while riding a black bicycle.
