1 dead, 6 injured in North Las Vegas crash
A crash left one dead and six injured Wednesday night in North Las Vegas.
The crash happened about 8:30 p.m. when a four-door silver car that was headed south on North Fifth Street slammed into a black SUV that was headed west on Tropical Parkway, police spokesman Aaron Patty said.
One person was ejected from the SUV on impact and died on scene. Two others in the SUV were taken to a hospital but were stabilized Wednesday night.
The four people in the silver car were also taken to a hospital and later stabilized, he said.
“Speed does appear to be a factor, and we’re also looking into whether or not drugs were potentially a factor,” Patty said.
