Malls to be sites of transportation fairs

The Regional Transportation Commission will hold its bi-annual transportation fairs at local malls over the next several weekends.

Today, the fair will be from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Meadows Mall.

Staff members will be on hand to distribute new transit guides and provide information to commuters on future rapid-transit lines, the Freeway and Arterial System of Transportation, and Club Ride commuting program.

Staffers from the Nevada Department of Transportation and Clark County public works department also will be available to answer questions and provide information on current and upcoming road projects.

The transportation fair is scheduled to continue at the Meadows Mall from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Sunday.

Over the next two weekends, the transportation fair will be held at the Boulevard Mall at 3528 South Maryland Parkway on May 10 and 11, and then move to the Galleria at Sunset at 1300 West Sunset Road on May 17 and 18.
