Man charged in lewdness case near Las Vegas High School

A 28-year-old man accused of exposing himself to teenagers near Las Vegas High School last month has been arrested.

Jayson David Lewis was arrested after a traffic stop on Dec. 31 on charges of open and gross lewdness and sexually motivated coercion.

Las Vegas police said Lewis exposed his genitals to teenagers walking to a school function about 5:30 a.m. on Nov. 16 near Tree Line Drive and Charleston Boulevard. He was driving a white sedan.

Police posted video of the suspect’s car on YouTube.

Lewis was being held at the Clark County jail. A preliminary hearing was set for Jan. 17.
