An 82-year-old man beaten in his Henderson home during an apparent robbery died early today, according to Henderson police.
One man and two teenage girls are being held on murder charges while investigators try to locate two other men they believe were involved in the robbery and slaying, which occurred July 24.
The victim, who was not identified by police, was beaten in his home on Cervantes Drive, near Sunset Road and Valle Verde Drive, by three men, police spokesman Keith Paul said.
Inside the home at the time of the attack were a 15-year-old girl and 16-year-old girl, who knew the man prior to the attack.
Mickey M. Thomas, 26,who was already in custody, was booked today into Henderson Detention Center on murder charges.
The two teenage girls, who also were already in custody, are being held on similar charges in the Clark County juvenile detention facility. Their names weren't released because they are minors.
Investigators said they were still looking for the two other men involved in the attack. Paul did not have suspect descriptions of the men.
