Man killed in home invasion-robbery identified

The man who was shot and killed in a home invasion-robbery at his southwest valley home early Wednesday has been identified as Robert Turner by the Clark County coroner's office.

Las Vegas police said that Turner, 27, was shot in the head after confronting two men who were there to rob his home in the 9400 block of Forbes Field Court, near Fort Apache and Russell roads.

The suspects fled on foot, taking several items with them.

The crime remained under investigation Friday.
