Man killed in North Las Vegas collision ID’d

A man who died in a crash Wednesday night in North Las Vegas has been identified by the Clark County coroner.

The crash happened about 8:30 p.m. when a four-door silver car heading south on North Fifth Street slammed into a black SUV that was heading east on Tropical Parkway, police spokesman Aaron Patty said.

Richard Camara, 89, of Las Vegas was ejected from the SUV and died at the scene. Two passengers in the SUV were taken to a hospital but were stabilized Wednesday night.

Four people in the silver car also were taken to a hospital and later stabilized, he said.
