Man who died at Lake Mohave identified

The Clark County coroner's office has identified the man who died at Lake Mohave on Wednesday.

Martin Dorsey, 20, of Las Vegas, was pulled from the water of Placer Cove by bystanders shortly after 4 p.m. He was given CPR until National Park Service rangers arrived, but died at the scene in the southern part of Lake Mead National Recreation Area.

A spokesman with the park service said Wednesday the cause of death is presumed to be a drowning, but an official cause has not yet been released by the coroner's office.

Dorsey was not wearing a flotation device. The park service spokesman said alcohol was involved in the incident.
