Motorcyclist dies in crash

A 57-year-old man died after the motorcycle he was riding collided with a pickup, Henderson police said Monday.

Police did not release the identity of the deceased man.

Police said the crash happened about 1 a.m. Sunday on Pecos Road near Wigwam Parkway.

They said the driver of a 2006 Dodge Charger, Julien Decoster, 33, was traveling north on Pecos and made a left turn onto Wigwam. The motorcycle collided with the car, police said.

The motorcyclist was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.

Police said Decoster submitted to a voluntary blood test, but drinking did not appear to play a role in the collision.
