Names of bus crash victims are released

The Arizona Department of Public Safety on Wednesday released the names of the seven people who died in Friday's tour bus crash south of Hoover Dam.

Most of the 17 passengers were Chinese nationals returning to Las Vegas from the Grand Canyon. The tourists had flown from Shanghai to San Francisco.

The dead are: Meng Qui Sun, female, 19; Yu Ching Chung, female, 15; Guo Ying Zhu, female 45; Yong Shun Zhu, male, 39; Zhen Quan Sheng, male, 56; Xia Zhen Ge, female 44; and Wen Ting Chen, male, 45. Chen was a tour guide on the bus.

The bus was on U.S. Highway 93 in Arizona, just south of the Nevada border, when it crashed.

The cause of the crash is under investigation by the Arizona Department of Public Safety and the National Transportation Safety Board.
