Teacher killed, four others injured in Spain knife attack

An attack at a high school in Barcelona, Spain, Monday left a teacher dead and four others — two teachers and two students — injured, according to a Catalonian regional police official.

A minor under the age of 14 attacked the victims with “a bladed weapon,” police said. The injuries to the four wounded in the attack were not considered life-threatening.

The suspect was not in custody Monday, police said, as, by law, minors under the age of 14 are not kept in police custody.
