North Las Vegas police seek help in finding con victims
May 6, 2008 - 9:00 pm
North Las Vegas police are asking for the public's help in finding victims of a duo suspected of swindling money from elderly homeless people.
Investigators last week arrested Eleanor Larock, 47, and Davey Feliciano-Guzman, 30, on charges of abuse and neglect of the elderly.
Larock and Feliciano-Guzman found their victims in shelters and offered them a stay at one of three homes around the valley, one in North Las Vegas and two in Las Vegas, police said.
The victims were coerced into giving the couple power of attorney over their finances, usually Social Security or veterans checks, police said.
The couple took out life insurance policies on some of the victims while naming themselves as benefactors, police said.
Anyone with information on the investigation can call Crime Stoppers at 385-5555.
