Official says no one hurt in blaze at Wetlands Park

About six acres of land burned Sunday afternoon at Wetland Parks, the Clark County Fire Department said.
Department spokesman Tim Szymanski said firefighters were called to the park about 12:40 p.m.
He did not know the cause of the fire but said that no one was injured and that no buildings were threatened.
The Wetland Parks is a nature preserve near the far east end of Tropicana Avenue.
Szymanski said firefighters expected to contain the blaze.
"The smoke is dissipating," Szymanski said. "We're going to let the fire burn itself out."
