Only one judicial election filing in Clark County on Friday

CARSON CITY — Only one person, Paul “Mitch” Gaudet, filed to run for a judge seat in Clark County on Friday.

Gaudet is running for the Department L Family Court seat held by Jennifer Elliott. Mary Perry also is a candidate.

Other judicial candidates can file their candidacies for district and justice seats through 5 p.m. Friday at the Clark County Election Department. People also can filed to run for the Nevada Supreme Court at the secretary of state’s office in Las Vegas or Carson City.

The primary election is June 10, and the general election is Nov. 4. All judicial races are nonpartisan.
