Police: Argument led to fatal Sunday shooting south of downtown

One man is dead after an argument led to a fatal shooting south of downtown Las Vegas Sunday night, according to Las Vegas police.
Officers responded to the 1900 block of Western Avenue near Sahara Avenue and Interstate 15 about 6 p.m. and discovered a man who was unresponsive with an apparent gunshot wound. Two other people also had been shot and all three were transported to University Medical Center, according to Las Vegas police.
The unresponsive man was pronounced dead at the hospital.
Investigators determined the three shooting victims had been involved in an altercation inside an area business before they were shot.
Police have not identified a suspect at this time, and the investigation remains ongoing. This is the 11th homicide in Metro’s jurisdiction in 2014.
