Police watch, arrest sex offenders in Halloween sweep

Several Las Vegas area law enforcement agencies have teamed to ensure sex offenders in Clark County don't put a damper on Halloween fun.

The five-day Operation Trick-or-Treat II project aims at arresting sex offender fugitives and ensuring compliance with sex offender registration requirements in Clark County.

About 20 fugitive sex offenders were arrested this week during a compliance sweep and crews will conduct 161 compliance checks this weekend to make sure registered sex offenders are not interacting with trick or treating children.
