Purse snatcher in pink slippers subject of police search

Las Vegas police are asking for the public’s help identifying a purse snatcher in pink slippers.

Police said a woman, described as approximately 25-30 years old with a heavy build, solicited money and stole a purse in a casino the morning of Feb. 2 in the 4000 block of Boulder Highway.

Stills from surveillance footage show the woman in a tan coat with fur hood, pink shirt, gold hoop earrings, blue hat, dark pants and pink slippers.

The woman fled on foot.

Anyone with information is urged to call the Las Vegas police’s robbery section at (702) 828-3591 or, to remain anonymous, contact Crime Stoppers at (702) 385-5555 or www.crimestoppersofnv.com.
