Heavy rain soaked the Las Vegas Valley Wednesday, Aug. 22, 2012, closing several streets. The National Weather Service predicted more heavy rain through Wednesday night and has issued a flash flood warning for Clark County, Lincoln and southern Nye counties. By Wednesday afternoon officials reported 18 water rescues.
