Rollover accident kills man on 215 Beltway at Decatur

Nevada Highway Patrol reported a fatal crash Sunday morning on the southern 215 Beltway westbound at the Decatur Boulevard exit.

According to highway patrol, a black BMW rolled over several times and came to rest in a rock area by the Beltway just before 7 a.m.

One man in his thirties died on the scene.

Witness statements indicated the man was driving recklessly, in excess of 100 mph, highway patrol said.

Highway patrol reopened the westbound ramp to Decatur at about 10:45 a.m., after closing it during the investigation and cleanup.
