File this one under "oops." A story Telegraph.co.uk story I saw today shows what can happen if you're not careful with Facebook privacy settings.
 

A teenager in England was flooded with more than 21,000 responses after she inadvertently posted a birthday party invite to more than just her online friends. Fourteen-year-old Rebecca Javeleau intended to invite just 15 people to her 15th birthday party, but by not checking her privacy settings, the event was made public and word got around.

As the responses mounted, the girl's mother canceled the party, which had been scheduled for Oct. 7. Her mum also pulled the plug on Javeleau's computer and will likely do the same with her mobile phone.
