RENO - One of the world's leading travel Web sites says Lake Tahoe remains the most popular ski destination in the U.S. for air-and-hotel package bookings this year.
It's the third year in a row Tahoe has topped the annual Orbitz Insider Index.
Andy Chapman, the tourism director of the North Lake Tahoe Resort Association, says their numbers show the same thing. He says the 22 feet of snowfall they've received this season has people flocking to the region.
