Two die in traffic accident near Kingman

Two people were killed in a single-vehicle accident on Interstate 40 in Arizona on Tuesday.

The Department of Public Safety said a van pulling a trailer left the westbound lanes of the highway and rolled in the median several times about 40 miles east of Kingman just before 2 p.m.

It identified the deceased as the driver, Pamela Harris, 66, of Sedona, and a passenger, Leslie Billinghurst, 82, of Spain.

A second passenger, Karen Lang, 79, of Sedona, was transported to Sunrise Hospital and Medical Center in Las Vegas where she was listed in fair condition Wednesday afternoon.

The accident remains under investigation.
