Two hurt in crash at Flamingo and Boulder Highway

Authorities say two men were hurt in a fiery overnight crash that knocked down a traffic signal pole at Flamingo Road and Boulder Highway.

Police say they're looking for a dark-colored vehicle seen driving away after the crash just before 2 a.m. Monday.

Police say 24-year-old Vinicio Xiloj-Gabriel was taken to University Medical Center with critical injuries and 26-year-old Erick Xiloj-Gabriel was hospitalized with serious injuries.

Crash investigators say the two men were in a 1997 Chevrolet Cavalier that caught fire after slamming into the pole.

Police say the pole collapsed into the intersection, forcing a traffic detour around the scene for several hours during the morning commute.
