Vince Neil flying all over the map

Vince Neil is full of news today. He's starting a charter jet airline in Las Vegas soon. He's recording his first solo album in 10 years here, while working on an autobiography. And he's got advice for Tiger Woods.

KISS THE SKY

"Vince Neil Aviation will be flying in the next couple of weeks. I'm not sure if it'll be out of Henderson or McCarran," he tells me.

It'll fly to New York, Mexico, South America ... "wherever."

He's got a Hawker 700 and a Learjet 35 and he's looking for a Learjet 60. He's dodged certain jet sellers while looking for FAA-quality planes.

"I found out the aviation industry is just as nasty and underhanded as the rock 'n' roll music business. There are slimy people involved. You wouldn't think so, being aviation. But there are people out to make a buck, and they'll rip you off just like any other business."

TIGER TAILS AND COOKIES

I reminded Vince of a story a fellow rock star told me a year ago: The rock star and Vince were hanging in a bar in L.A. when a guy in the bar messed with Vince -- who'd been drinking and punched the guy. Vince's wife rushed Vince and the rock star home and baked them cookies.

"I punched a guy and she made me cookies? That's a wife! Tiger needs a chick like that!"

Speaking of Tiger tales: "I really think he needs to do like Kobe (Bryant) did and come clean and just say he's sorry."

I told Vince I'd bet Tiger bedded 1,400 women, not 14 or whatever the media number is up to.

"Yeah, yeah," Vince says.

I posited my theory that Tiger's horrible adultery was good for Tiger's golfing because he won while collecting harems. Vince, a golfer, laughs and sees my point:

"He was with that chick in Australia, and I think he won it (the Australian tourney). It's like a little 'strange' before you go out" to golf.

Vince says Tiger's sex life is more secretive than the wildest years of Vince's band, Motley Crue.

"We were like, 'Yeah, we (expletive) her. Absolutely. Twice!' "

NEW ALBUM AND BOOK

Vince and I talked at his friend Danny "Count" Koker's Desert Moon Productions, on South Highland Drive near strip club alley. He's cutting "Tattoos and Tequila" there and writing a book akin to Motley's "The Dirt," with Mike Sager, author and Esquire writer-at-large.

"It's hard to remember a lot of details. Ask me about high school. I don't remember. I was on drugs!"

Recording with Vince: bassist Dana Strum and Jeff Blando (both of Slaughter); and drummer Zoltan Chaney. A cover he's singing: "Who'll Stop the Rain?"

Motley tours in January and February. Vince then tours Mexico, Brazil and Argentina. His album should come out around April, and the book by summer.

He'll spend New Year's Eve at his Feelgoods Rock Bar & Grill, 6750 W. Sahara Ave. Before that, he and wife Lia Gerardini will exchange gifts at their Bay Area home.

"She has her personal shoppers around the city -- Neiman Marcus, and one at Chanel at Bellagio. They always go, 'She wants this. She wants this. She wants this.' I go, 'OK, just send it to the house.'

"You know what she gave me for my birthday present?" he says with a loving laugh. "She gave me a picture of another golf cart. They won't let my golf cart on the golf course at my house because it's black and flamed and goes 40 mph. She was gonna buy me another golf cart that's white, that I can actually drive. And she never got it for me!"

DOGS AND CATS NEED GIFTS, TOO

Vince (whose charity is the Skylar Neil Foundation, named after his late daughter) has a request for you: Donate at CockerSpanielRescue.org. and NevadaSPCA.org.

"Donate. It's Christmastime. Dogs are cold. Give blankets or food or something."

GIVE BLOOD WITH PENN & TELLER

And if you want to meet Penn and Teller, go to United Blood Services, 6930 W. Charleston Blvd., at 10 a.m. today. If you give blood there by Dec. 31, you get two free tickets to their Rio show.
