When Apple debuted its new mobile mapping service, its hilarious geographic gaffes brought complaints and ridicule to the computer giant.
It appears Las Vegas tourism officials and the city's minor league baseball team may have bones to pick with the company.
On Apple Maps, the intersection of Las Vegas Boulevard and Washington Avenue shows up as "Downtown North," while the cluster of museums nearby is designated as the "Cultural Corridor." Fine so far.
For some reason, though, Apple has labeled the area east of there the "Homeless Corridor," which appears to be centered in left field of the baseball diamond where the Las Vegas 51s play.

County commission meetings can be long. So about halfway through Tuesday's six-hour meeting, commissioners debated taking a lunch break.
They decided against it, to the angst of a hungry reporter but to the benefit of someone else in the audience.
When commissioners came to the next agenda item - money for public art - Nevada State College student Ed Fuentes approached the microphone.
He was in favor of public art, he said. But he was really in favor of commissioners getting the item over with.
"I'm glad you did not interrupt today's meeting for a break," he said. "Because the outcome of this ... is the 10th page of a 10-page paper due at 5 o'clock today."
