Western governors tackle state health care spending at conference
Nevada Gov. Brian Sandoval talked to other governors from the West on Saturday about a variety of issues during the final day of the two-day Western Governors' Association conference at the Four Seasons in Las Vegas.
A day after governors focused on homeland security, Sandoval took part in a panel discussion about trends in state health care spending, with a goal of improving service and outcomes at lower cost.
The Western Governors' Association is comprised of governors of 19 states as well as American Samoa, Guam and the Northern Mariana Islands.
