What to do on your summer vacation

The University of Nevada, Las Vegas is offering summer classes to gifted and honors students in middle school and high school. Students take classes in subjects as diverse as robotics and creative writing and can earn three college credits.
The Summer Advanced Gifted Education (SAGE) takes place July 12-30 and costs $875, which includes the class, lunch and parking on campus.
Scholarships are available, but students must apply by Feb. 20.
