LETTER: There are many reasons to be depressed these days

Victor Joecks’ column “Artemis 1 symbolizes a nation in decline” is remarkably depressing and, unfortunately, exactly correct.
I suspect Mr. Joecks’ attitude is colored by the senseless killing of reporter Jeff German, but I guess the question is: What we can do to improve things?
