51s shortstop Adeiny Hechavarria was elected to start for the Pacific Coast League in the 25th annual Triple-A All-Star Game, scheduled for July 11 at Coca-Cola Field in Buffalo, N.Y.
Las Vegas manager Marty Brown will manage the 30-player PCL team against the International League All-Stars.
Thirteen PCL players were elected to the team in balloting of field managers, general managers, media and fans. Among the reserves selected by the league office was 51s relief pitcher Chad Beck.
Hechavarria is batting .312 this season with seven stolen bases, four home runs and a team-high 54 RBIs. Beck is 1-0 with a 0.99 ERA and nine saves in 27 1/3 innings.
Also, left-hander Jamie Moyer made his first start for Las Vegas on Thursday and earned the win in the 51s' 11-4 victory over the Tacoma Rainiers in Tacoma, Wash.
The 49-year-old Moyer worked five innings and allowed three runs on seven hits and one walk and struck out six.
Yan Gomes and Travis Snider each had three hits and two RBIs for Las Vegas (45-35), with Gomes hitting his eighth homer.
Moyer, a 25-year major league veteran, was guaranteed two starts when he signed a minor league contract Monday with Toronto, after which he will be promoted to the Blue Jays or released.
