51s start quickly, but foul weather suspends game

The 51s got off to a quick start with three first-inning runs Tuesday night, but rain suspended their game against the Iowa Cubs in the third inning in Des Moines, Iowa.

The game will resume at 8:30 a.m. PDT today, with Las Vegas leading, 3-1. The two teams' regularly scheduled game will follow.

Chin-Lung Hu had an RBI double in the first inning for Las Vegas, and John Lindsey followed with a two-run homer. Felix Pie had an RBI double for the Cubs in the bottom of the first.
