Chris Bosh agrees to max deal with Miami Heat

Two people familiar with the situation say that Chris Bosh has agreed to a maximum deal with the Miami Heat.

The people said that Bosh will be getting a five-year deal worth about $118 million. The people spoke to The Associated Press on Friday on condition of anonymity because neither the team nor Bosh had publicly announced the deal.

Bosh’s deal comes not long after LeBron James announced earlier Friday he was leaving the Heat for a return to the Cleveland Cavaliers. The Heat are continuing to negotiate with Dwyane Wade, the other member of what was the Miami “Big 3” that went to the NBA Finals in each of the last four seasons.
