Before UCLA strength and conditioning coach Sal Alosi was allegedly attacked by Sean “Diddy” Combs on Monday after berating the rapper’s son during a workout, the former New York Jets assistant coach gained infamy in 2010 when he was suspended by the NFL for tripping Miami Dolphins cornerback Nolan Carroll on the sideline during a punt return.
Shortly after Diddy was arrested for an alleged assault with a kettlebell weight, Carroll posted on Twitter, “Someone told me @iamdiddy has my back.”
