Trump KO’s reports of Mike Tyson appearing at GOP Convention

Just in case you were wondering, former boxer Mike Tyson won’t be in the speaker lineup at the Republican National Convention in July.

Bloomberg Politics had reported a lineup of sports figures planned for the convention, including Tyson, though the outlet didn’t specify what the Henderson resident’s potential role at the convention would be.

Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump tweeted: “Iron Mike Tyson was not asked to speak at the Convention though I’m sure he would do a good job if he was. The media makes everything up!”

Tyson’s publicist told Bloomberg Politics on Wednesday that Tyson won’t be at the convention, which will be held in Cleveland.
