Bryce Harper’s on fire and he burned his teammate — sort of
Bryce Harper is so hot right now that one of his Washington Nationals teammates jokingly acted as if he burned his fingers from tapping the former Las Vegas High School and College of Southern Nevada standout on the shoulder during a postgame interview Sunday in San Diego, where Harper went 3-for-4 with a home run, triple and four RBIs.
The right fielder, who was named the National League Player of the Week on Monday for the second straight week, is having a May to remember, batting .418 with nine homers in his last 11 games and 22 RBIs.
