A lot of Las Vegas movers and shakers wearing tailored blazers with open collars attended Wednesday’s Las Vegas Bowl kickoff luncheon at the Hard Rock Hotel, at a swanky restaurant called 35 Steaks + Martinis.

Las Vegas Bowl tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Monday. The Dec. 21 game at Sam Boyd Stadium features a Pacific 12 Conference team against the top selection from the Mountain West.
ABC will televise this year’s Las Vegas Bowl, the first time the game will be on the network since 2001.
Washington will play No. 20 Boise State in the MAACO Bowl Las Vegas at 12:30 p.m. Dec. 22 at Sam Boyd Stadium (ESPN).
