Here’s Gronk and Ortiz in a new Dunkin’ Donuts commercial

If you’re a fan of Rob Gronkowski and David Ortiz, you can laugh with the Boston sports stars while watching the music video of “Turn It Up,” their second song about Dunkin’ Donuts iced coffee.
If you’re not a fan of Gronk or Big Papi or Boston sports in general, you can laugh at the New England Patriots tight end and Red Sox designated hitter, who clearly need better backup singers.
The good news/bad news is that they’ll have two more chances to redeem themselves in their “Summer Chill” album campaign as “Me Estoy Enamorando” is scheduled to be released July 28 and “Four Things We Love” is due out on Aug. 9.
While we’re fans of Gronk and Papi, their songs would not make our list of four things we love.
To help prepare their guests for the video, Dunkin’ Donuts offered “turned up” versions of their iced coffee at a pre-release party Monday in Boston, spiking each flavor with alcohol.
In what will surely go down in music history, according to a Dunkin’ Donuts employee at the event, Ortiz and Gronkowski previously filmed and recorded all four songs during one day at a house in Concord, Massachusetts.
The employee told Boston.com they had to remind Gronkowski not to drink from the prop iced coffee filled with acrylic ice cubes.
