INTERNET ONLY: Olsen, Green Valley beats Foothill in boys volleyball

Cameron Olsen had 11 kills and three aces Tuesday to help Green Valley's boys volleyball team to a 25-19, 21-25, 25-16, 25-19 home win over Foothill.

Chris Mortenson added nine kills for the Gators, and Taylor Mitchell had 30 assists.

Foothill's Jordan Monga had six kills and 12 assists, and Britain Rosenberg added 10 assists and three kills.

• Shadow Ridge 3, Legacy 0 -- At Shadow Ridge, Tyler Marshall had nine kills and eight blocks to lead the Mustangs to a 25-8, 25-15, 25-8 victory over the Longhorns.

Jacob Trotter had six kills for Shadow Ridge, and Jeff Elmer added six aces.

Legacy's Steven Leavitt had seven assists, and Benjamin Noell had three kills.

• Centennial 3, Cheyenne 0 -- At Centennial, Jeff Hampton, Cameron Olson and Taylor Deaver combined for 14 kills as the Bulldogs defeated the Desert Shields, 25-9, 25-10, 25-16.

Centennial's Kyle Moody had three digs.

Conner Patterson had eight assists for Cheyenne, and Brandon Jackson and Irving Law each had three kills.

• Basic 3, Silverado 0 -- At Silverado, Anthony Gambone had 14 assists as the Wolves defeated the Skyhawks, 25-20, 25-23, 25-17.

Daniel Bowman had eight kills and three blocks for Basic, and Jarrod Mackelpang added seven kills and four blocks.

Silverado's Talon Goon had 11 digs and three aces.

• Arbor View 3, Mojave 0 -- At Mojave, Matt Ward had 26 assists and three aces to help the Aggies to a 25-13, 25-12, 25-16 win over the Rattlers.

Arbor View's Michael Cable had seven kills and Zac Reese added six kills.

Tony Vaz led Mojave with eight kills and five aces, and Alex Montgomery and Nick McCurry each added four kills.

• Coronado 3, Liberty 0 -- At Liberty, Kevin Foutz had 17 assists and two blocks as the Cougars beat the Patriots, 25-6, 25-13, 25-16.

Coronado's Bryan Arana added seven kills and three aces, and Brian Davis had five kills and two digs.

Liberty's Jamie Acayan had five kills. Devon Gonzales and Brendon Reano each added three kills for the Patriots.

• Palo Verde 3, Cimarron-Memorial 0 -- At Cimarron-Memorial, Adam Nieman logged 38 assists as the Panthers defeated the Spartans, 25-22, 25-22, 25-15.

Tyler Capko added 14 kills for Palo Verde, and Clayton Worthen had 10 kills.

Cimarron's Robert Watkins, Trinton Manumaleuna and Dustin Larsen each had six kills.

• Del Sol 3, Tech 0 -- At Tech, the Dragons defeated the Roadrunners, 29-27, 25-13, 25-18.

Tech's Antonio Garcia had seven kills and four blocks, and Albert Aba added seven assists and three aces.
