Lamar Odom’s family says his condition continues to improve

Lamar Odom's condition continues to improve after the former NBA center was found unconscious last week in a Nevada brothel, his family said Thursday.

Odom was moved to Los Angeles after initially being treated in Las Vegas and is responding to an aggressive therapy regimen.

"He is beginning to gradually flourish both mentally and physically," Alvina Alston, a publicist forOdom's aunt, JaNean Mercer, said in a statement. "His use of speech has increased and he's more cognitively responsive."

On Wednesday, reality star Khloe Kardashian and Odom postponed a divorce filing from December 2013. She has been with Odom since he was hospitalized in Las Vegas on Oct. 13 in critical condition after he was found unconscious and unresponsive at the Love Ranch brothel in Crystal, Nev.

Former NBA player Marcus Morris Sr. was arrested Sunday at a Florida airport on a warrant out of Nevada and is facing a fraud charge, the Broward County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
