Mayweather wants you to know he can read, is insanely rich

Floyd Mayweather has something to say to the haters: He can read, and he’s really rich.
The boxer tweeted this on Friday night: “Read this $72,276,000.00. God bless.” with a picture of two checks — one for $31,406,000 and one for $40,870,000.
The tweet was in response to rapper 50 Cent, who challenged Mayweather to participate in the ALS challenge earlier this week, but with zero ice (and apparently not much understanding of what the Ice Bucket Challenge actually is).
“Floyd will you except my ALS/ESL CHALLENGE: I will donate $750k to a charity of your choice, If you can read a full page out of a Harry Potter book out loud without starting and stopping or ——ing up. lmao,” 50 wrote.
The ALS Ice Bucket Challenge, which asks people to either dump a bucket of ice water over their head or give $100 to the ALS Association — has taken the Internet by storm over the past few weeks and has raised $62.5 million so far.
